Since 2003 we have been dedicated to growing everyone who comes in our doors, using gymnastics to help our students bloom into healthy, happy, confident, capable people.

Our Mission: Where fun and fitness flip together in a safe, nurturing environment that welcomes people of all ages and abilities, Performance Athletics Gymnastics educates and inspires our students to cultivate the joy of an active lifestyle.

Performance Athletics was founded in 2003 on the central coast of SLO County for the purpose of creating a professional gymnastics training center in a friendly atmosphere where all students can reach their potential and child wellness comes first. Our professional staff ensure a safe and fun gymnastics experience for everyone. We are dedicated to the preparation and development of each student on an individual basis. We offer parent participation, preschool, recreational, and competitive gymnastics programs along with sport enhancing development and activity based fitness programs for all ages and abilities.

We provide a positive experience for all. Athlete wellness is number one! We use the "whole-child" approach and our primary goal is to help build strong, healthy, happy and confident people of all ages. Medals are the icing on the cake! Call us at 805-547-1GYM (1496).

We are hiring for part-time, come join our Team! Summer 2026: We are seeking coaches for the following positions: Camps, preschool and recreational gymnastics coaches, weekends shifts may be included.

Performance Athletics is a state-of-the-art gymnastics facility serving the San Luis Obispo County central coast since 2003.  Our staff hold USAG and or NGA Safety, Annual Concussion Certification, Abuse Prevention, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. We are background checked/finger printed and or screened via NCSI and or SLO PD. We are skilled in working with children of all ages using age-appropriate gymnastics development, motor skills/movement and development, and Early Childhood Education evidence-based teaching methods.

Owner Leslie Breeze and her coaching staff have received numerous awards for their personal athletic achievements. They have been recognized at the state level, regionally, and nationally for competitions in artistic gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, dance, and/or sports acrobatics. We have brought our students to top levels that have achieved state, regional, and national awards in artistic gymnastics and cheerleading. Including collegiate gymnastics and cheer, via athletic distinctions, walks-ons, partial and full ride collegiate scholarships. "Every Child is a Star" and receives equal attention from our teachers. We take the whole-child approach to help each student be their best.

Since our opening in 2003 we continue to maintain membership in good standing with our National governing bodies, including NorCal Women's Gymnastics Association and NorCal Boys Gymnastics Association. In 2020 we left USAG and joined NGA (National Gymnastics Association).
